Brush Fire
St. Matthias Drive & Lakeshore Drive

At 2:42pm Shreveport Fire Department was dispatched out to a reported brush fire. As a result of the high winds the fire spreaded very rapidly. Louisiana Forestry was called out for a backhoe to dig a trench around the fire to stop from spreading.
