House Fire
2869 Alkay Drive
May 7, 2012

At 7:55pm Shreveport Fire Department was dispatched out to a reported house fire. Medic 17 arrived on scene and advised it is a working house fire with flames on the "B" and "C" side. A dog was trapped inside the house fire. Firefighters rescued the dog and brought it to a nearby tree to begin medical treatment. It is unknown if the dog made it but last time Cody saw it, it was breathing. Firefighters foamed the house to prevent any fire from rekindling.
